Where Can I Park?
Event parking for the James L. Knight Center is provided by various surrounding parking garages and lots.  We recommend booking your parking space ahead of time, click here. The Miami Parking Authority charges a discounted rate of $20 for special events at the Miami Tower (100 SE 2nd St, Miami, FL 33131).  Valet Parking is owned by the Hyatt Regency Miami and operated by Central Parking Systems. Please note that they do not offer discounted rates, and they could charge up to $100.   WE RECOMMEND using the parking garages or lots surrounding the venue.
Are your Facilities ADA Accessible?
The James L. Knight Center is ADA accessible. There is one elevator located near the James L. Knight Center box office which can be utilized to transport patrons to and from the first level to the theater level when needed.
What time do the doors open prior to an event?
Doors will open one hour prior to the event time. Please be aware that event dates and times are subject to change at any time so check back to our site often for updates on any special rules or regulations that may have been put in place for specific events. Please check the individual event information on the event calendar for updates.
What form of payment can I use?
We accept cash, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and The Discover Card.
Is there a Will Call window at your box office?
There is a will-call window at our box office. Will Call allows patrons to pick their tickets up the night of the event at the box office with a proper photo ID. Will Call is usually used when purchasing tickets over the Internet or if you need to leave tickets for family, friends, or associates.
What are the Box Office hours?
The box office hours are typically Monday – Friday, 10 am to 5:00 pm, and open at 12 pm on weekend event days. Box office hours are subject to change.
Are tickets purchased through third-party websites valid?
Ticketmaster is the only authorized ticket-selling agent of James L. Knight Center. James L. Knight Center cannot be responsible for the authenticity of tickets obtained through any other source and will not honor counterfeit and other invalid tickets.
Does your venue have a Lost and Found?
The James L. Knight Center has a lost and found located in the main office. If you have lost or misplaced a possession and you believe it happened at one of these facilities, please call 305-416-5970 during normal business hours and ask to speak to someone in lost and found.

Who owns the James L. Knight Center?
All facilities are owned by the City of Miami. ASM Global has been chosen to manage the facilities.

Where is the first-aid station located?
The first-aid station at the James L. Knight Center can be found in the main ASM Global office. If you need immediate assistance, please contact an event staff member and paramedics will be directed to your location immediately.
Are cameras, video cameras or recording devices allowed at events?
Professional cameras (professional = having a removable lens) and audio/video recording are strictly prohibited in the James L. Knight Center for all events unless otherwise noted. This includes GoPros and Mirrorless DSLR’s. Exceptions to this include properly credentialed press by the artists, media and those approved to photograph directly from the artist/artist management. Our house photographer will be present at nearly every event and we will provide a gallery of images on Facebook and our website for your enjoyment after the shows.
Am I allowed to bring food/beverage into the facilities?
Outside food and beverage are prohibited inside the James L. Knight Center. Please do not bring any bottles of water/juice/soda or any alcoholic beverage of any kind.  All patrons found bringing outside food and beverage into the theater will be asked to return them to their vehicle or dispose of them in the trash.
Am I allowed to smoke at the facilities?
Smoking in the James L. Knight Center is strictly prohibited. Patrons found violating this policy are subject to ejection from the building and will not be allowed re-entry to the event.
How and where do I buy tickets?
Tickets for events can be purchased by visiting the James L. Knight Center Box Office, online at www.ticketmaster.com
Does Ticketmaster have extra fees?
Yes, a convenience charge is assessed when purchasing your tickets through Ticketmaster.
Why is there a “Convenience Charge” on my Purchase?
Ticketmaster assesses a convenience charge to each ticket purchased for an event. This fee exists for the services Ticketmaster provides that allow patrons to purchase tickets from their own homes so they don’t have to drive to the facilities for every on sale.
Where is the best place to get my tickets?
There isn’t a “Best” place to purchase tickets to our events. All tickets for a show are pulled from the same Ticketmaster database giving all patrons equal opportunity to get the best seats possible.
Are there prohibited items at the facilities?
The following items are prohibited at our facilities (Rules Subject to Change per Artist Request):
• Guns, knives, or weapons of any kind
• Outside food and beverage
• Laser pointers
• Glowsticks
• Clothing or Accessories with Spikes or Sharp Objects
• Handbags and backpacks over 10″ x 7″
• Recording devices (audio or video)
• Professional Cameras/GoPros/Mirrorless DSLRs

Where/What is the James L. Knight Center?
James L. Knight Center is one of Greater Miami’s most functional meeting, exhibit, and entertainment venues. The center, in the heart of downtown Miami, is designed to maximize convenience and flexibility, with 34 well-appointed meeting rooms, including a 444-seat auditorium, a 117-seat lecture hall, and a 4,650-seat theater, and the ability to accommodate a variety of configurations for attendees of 20 to 5,000 people. Just 7 miles from the Miami International Airport, the facility is connected to the Hyatt Regency Miami offering over 615 sleeping rooms, additional meeting space, 1,450 connected parking spaces, and the free Metro mover for convenient transportation downtown.
